I called. If it says "interview" then you're in and if "Application in review" then you're not. I wasn't accepted but I can make other summer plans now :) Congrats to everyone and I'm sure all of us had the potential, but there were only limited spot...

Mine says "Application in Review" and my job status "Open" ---I wonder if job status open/closed means anything. Is everyone's status "open"

I totally agree with you! We ALL need to get on with our lives lol!! Cant' for all this to be over---my friends are so fed up with how much I talk about hearing back.

Lol, stop worrying! I called last Friday and this very nice HR lady said letters/emails are sent out this week I think they put that just in case they do need that much time!

Rumor on the street has it that they're sending out letters tomorrow (heard from someone at my school)--otherwise, hasn't heard anything yet. I'm not sure if they're mailing letters and sending emails at the same time or emails later.

Could people also post if they receive an email (if they don't mind)--emails arrive earlier. I hope none of us do but let us know if you do so we can check as well.

Hey Everyone, I called Mayo today just to see when we'll hear back exactly. They said if you do get accepted then you'll recieve a packet in the mail and if you get denied then you recieve an email. Packets will be sent out sometime next week! Let's ...

When Mayo came and talked to my Nursing school they told us that about a 1000 applications come in and they take about a 100 of them.

Yea, I have also heard that. You find out whether you're in or not then I think a month later--sometime in March they tell you the unit you'll be working on.

Yea, It's good to include everything! We'll just have to wait a few weeks and find out! You guys should let us know when you recieve your letters!

Also, I was reading last year's threads and someone got in w. a 3.7 so perhaps this 3.8 rule is a myth!

Hey guys! I just called and was told that a cover letter is NOT required. She said as long as your essays, transcript and faculty letter is received then you are good to go. Also, I asked which GPA they look at and it is the cumulative GPA. Let's all...

I spent a crazy amount of time on the essays as well! Plus, I have volunteered in hospitals in Egypt and was born in Egypt so maybe that'll help I have a 4.0 Nursing GPA but my Cumulative is a 3.5. I'll let you guys know what they tell me tomorrow!
