  1. Travel NICU

I know this could go in the travel section, but when I searched I have not seen any travel NICU topics so I thought I might reach more people in this forum. Do any of you travel as a NICU Neonatal RN? I have 10+ yrs of Level III experience and a...
  2. C-ELBW

A tiny baby unit sounds incredible with a certified team! Our unit started taking 22 wkers last year and have had several in the last year. It's definitely uncharted territory that we are still trying to navigate. I have not heard of resuscita...
  3. C-ELBW

Oh you should be fine then!! I didn't study incredibly long for it. I took it 6 wks after I signed up for it. I am curious, does your unit compensate you for having this certification or do you get specific assignments when you have it? I am the...
  4. C-ELBW

  8. RNC NICU question

Does your manager have to approve that you have met the requirements before I can test? I'm wishing to do it without people knowing... but is that not possible?
  9. RNC NICU question

    OK thanks everyone.
  10. Any 22 weekers out there?

Its a gray area since a couple days off in gestation could actually mean the infant is a 23wker. With that being said, we do take infants a couple days shy of 23 wks and they have survived and are doing well. :)
  11. Injuries r/t toning sneakers

They hurt my back and knee. I am a small person, very hyper-mobile and this really messed my back up. I had to go to therapy for 6 weeks to help recover from it. 9 months later I tried them again for 1 day because my other shoes weren't working ri...
