Deep in the recesses of my mind, I seem to recall that 'someone' had to verify that I had worked in the NICU setting for the requisite amount of time. If you haven't fulfilled that requirement, the testing agency will happily take your application fee, and send you a refusal for your application.

I feel like I had to input my manager's name and contact information when I applied to take the test because you have to have those 2 years of experience to test. My manager never said anything to me, so who knows. I never told anyone in my unit I was testing either. Good luck if you decide to take your test!

Does your manager have to approve that you have met the requirements before I can test? I'm wishing to do it without people knowing... but is that not possible?
