I also heard that volunteer experience is very important. A friend of mine is in the winter 2012 track and is working with a lady that sits in on interviews and said it is actually more important then a tech position while in school.

I contacted some of the educators and you pretty much apply for a new grad nursing position and then they put you in their residency program once you are hired. It's new and not that organized.. Nothing like Vanderbilts program!
