I don't know the difference between the two campuses...i don't know anyone that went to Jefferson. I myself went to Shelby the evening/weekend program. I wouldn't get caught up in which campus is harder. The curriculums should pretty much be the same...

yeah there is definitley radiation physics involved in any modality of Radiology. i don't think you are at a disadvantage. i didn't have any prior physics classes besides the basic stuff you learn in high school. it's doable you will be fine.

From what I could find, Michigan is not licensed for x-ray. They are licensed for mammography and you might do well with that. I forgot to mention radiation therapy. Even in Alabama where we are not licensed, they make good money...starting is prob...

@ Teejazzy, yeah i just checked out the website and i see what you mean. i got the Saunders book from a former student already, its the 4th edition tho, but that shouldn't be that big of a deal...i may cave and get the 5th if i think it's going to be...

@ JS Nurse 13, the drug calculations sheet is for the day program students. We are all still trying to figure out if there are more books or materials that we need. Haven't got a response yet. Those three books are needed for sure tho.

Really? Why does this have to be so difficult to get a straight answer?!! It clearly states on our schedule that 102 isn't until the spring so why would we need fundamentals material now? I'm gonna email again also and see what they say. SassyRN also...

I'm with you on the confused part, i got that same email and i was like huhh?! i don't know what the online terminology thing is, or if we really need the NCLEX Review book this semester, or the fundamentals

im confused, what books go with all the authors listed to the side? and we need the fundamentals books for this semester? i thought we didn't take that class until the spring.

Umm yes, I was quite surprised about the additional lab classes!! Four nights a week was not what I was thinking it would be. More notice would have been nice, but it is what it is. I got my game face on!!
