Just keep in mind lsu son is in New Orleans so about an hour away. Both are really good schools I would go with the closest and cheapest school.

Some nursing homes might do on the job training and pay for certification, you can call around.

I'm a LPN now. I would never suggest getting the LPN first then BSN. You'll be $60k in debt now or $60k in debt later when you have to go back to get the BSN. Save yourself the trouble and just get it done now. Where I live there is no tuition reimbu...

The OP stated just joking... I'm not sure how LTC works but when we have confused patients like that we'll either put them in front of the nurses station so more staff can watch them or try to get a sitter for the patient.

The only thing the RNs do for me are the iv pushes and spiking the blood.. Everything else is my responsibility including initial teaching and assessments. No one signs off after me.

I've never seen each patient having their own vial.. Whatever type of insulin they need we just pull it from the Pyxis that everyone uses. To answer the post, we also don't mix insulins and will give 2 shots.
