Who's applied to GPC for the fall?

madsmom1, I am totally with you!! Let me be number 60, I do not care as long as I get that acceptance letter :) I even think being number 61 would be okay because im pretty sure atleast one will give up their spot.

I was also that the scores they consider are on a percentile, not sure what that means.....maybe once everyone is done testing they take your score, and look at what perecentile you fall in, and then use that percentile score in their point system.

onlyhope8, I am applying to Lanier Tech's LPN program. The nursing grogram deadline is May 1st, and you have to sit for another exam sometime in May....the NLN. Your score on the NLN is how they choose students, they only look at GPA if they have two...

No, I do not think Gwinnett has an LPN program anymore, they use to, but when they started their RN program it replaced the LPN program. Im applying to Lanier Tech for LPN. An 81 is great! What is your pre-req GPA at GTC? Mine is only a 3.5.

I have a 3.5 kamecee, so I was really hoping to get in the 80's. Thanks Kiki! I will try not to stress, but I don't know if I will be able to stick to it, haha! I wish I knew how they assigned the points in the 50/50 equation.

I took the Kaplan this morning and scored a 79 My GPA is average so I do not know if that is going to be enough.

I received my rejection letter as well yesterday Totally bummed! mg100, I was there this morning too taking the Kaplan exam at GTC, I scored a 79, so I do not think I will be getting in there either with my average GPA. Oh well, guess I keep studyin...

Nursetobe10 I know how you feel, today has been the longest day of my life!!! Now I am just waiting for my husband to get home and check the mail, wanted to do it myself, but I can not wait any longer

Im so sorry mg100! Have you considered doing an LPN program and then bridging over? Thats my plan if I do not get in because I do not want to just continously apply and wait to get in, that could take longer then the LPN program, or I could never get...

Have any of you who've taken the Kaplan thus far, also taken the TEAS V? Im curious on how you would compare them if you do not mind sharing. I take my Kaplan next Tuesday, so im in total studing/freaking out mode.
