  5. So I was in an LPN program at a local vocational school and....I failed but they are re-admitting me for September 2012. Has anyone else been in this situation? Is it possible to pass nursing school my second time around?

    So I am in LPN school and work as a Care Manager (fancy term as a CNA/Home Health Aide) in an assisted living place and I adore it!!!! I look foward to going to work each day and smile though every shift. I have been doing this for years and love it....

  12. just an FYI obtaining your LPN isn't for someone less intellegent. LPN is hard so I wouldn't say "just her LPN" that is one of my biggest pet peeves!

    In New Jersey Paramedics can declare on the scene but once CPR is started by EMS (that is to say EMT-Basics) CPR cannot be stopped because that would be patient abandoment.

    In New Jersey if you have an RN you can challenge the EMT-B test (written and clinical) but you need a bridge program for paramedic.

  17. TEAS? Eek!

    I just took and passed my ATI/TEAS V exam. I studied from the Kaplan Nursing Entrence Exam book. It has a diagnositic test in the beginning to see where your weak spots are. It is 10 dollars on amazon! Best 10 dollars I ever spent!

  20. Haha thats silly! I am starting an LPN program in the Fall and I would tell someone that just because you do an LPN program does NOT mean you are less of a nurse it means you are just taking an alternative route.
  21. New LPN students??

    I just took my ATI/TEAS V test today. FOUR HOURS LONG!!! I honestly thought my head would explode. The women who gave the exam said there are 15 open spots for september....figures crossed that I *pass* and get in for the Sept. class!
