41 here. Raised my kids, dropped the dead weight ex after 20 years, remarried and finally have the support to pursue my dream. It took me 4 years, but I finished pre reqs and was accepted in an RN program. I'm scared to death....but I was meant to do...

Well, guess I can stop looking for my mailman then. I was about .2 points under yall. Hehe.

Ok, Ms Byrd replied to my questions. She said that denials were sent at the same time as the acceptance letters, and, unfortunately, October 21 is the deadline for the letter of intent. They are not extending the day.

I applied with a 6.72. I had a 6.3 last application period and got an alternate spot at Kingwood. I let that go ( :smackingf ) because hubby didn't want me driving that far everyday. Although, if you ask me, Katy to Tomball isn't a big difference fr...

When I turned in my application, I had to turn it in at the admissions/resgistration office downstairs because the nursing office had already moved (so I was told). I don't know much about that campus, I am from Cy Fair.

I just sent off an email to Ms. Byrd again, asking if they sent denial letters as well as acceptance, and also about the deadline for letter of intent. I will see what she says and pass on the info.

Nothing today.

I think they will be fine once they get moved over to the other building.

I get that maybe everyone who applied may not be on these forums, but shouldnt at least one more of us have got a letter by now?

why would one person get a letter and no one else? This is making no sense at all.

well that's not what I want to hear. I think it's a conspiracy with the Postal Service.

Personally I have chalked it up to the move. But, on the other hand, they could/should have had someone stop and deal with the letters.
