Hello, As of Fall 2011, The Teas V was given for entrance into WNC and the HESI was given for TMCC. The Teas V is much more difficult and I would recommend buying a study guide as well as reviewing your science notes and texts from previous classes...

Anyone else waiting to hear from TMCC or WNC for Fall 2011 admissions? I have applied to both schools and am not so patiently waiting for a letter from WNC. WNC letter should come in 2 weeks and TMCC in 2 months!!

Scir, I am in the nursing program at TMCC and we all pretty much had a 4.0 prior to the program. Last year the valedictorian had a 3.3 or so. Our class average is at about 83% right now. I highly doubt many people can graduate with a 4.0, and honest...

I go Monday 8-11 Tues 8-1 Wed clinical (could be 630-11 or 4-8) Thurs 8-130 KEEP IN MIND THERE ARE SEVERAL ORIENTATIONS SCHEDULED AT THE HOSPITALS AND FOR THE ONLINE CLASS, WE HAVE HAD 3 ON FRIDAYS.

A couple of years ago my sister got a certified letter literally the day before the first day of school, so no matter what keep your heads up!

Funny how that works out.. My kids will both be in school until 4pm M-F for the first time. So the timing is right for me, too!

Some of the people I talked to at WNC were still hoping to get in at TMCC. If it helps any; I would have declined Spring and gone to WNC, so there may be others in the same position...

I have a good feeling about both of your situations! I really don't think 100% of the class will be accepting. It may be the case at first, but they start dropping as time goes by-

I am sure that they will get you in... Remember when I got in at WNC they said ALL waitlisters got in last year (plus extras they had to call) I think we will all be in!!!

It could mean that they release access to classes on a case by case basis. WNC will only allow you to register when you have met the requirements. It is still possible that our friend was allowed to register because she accepted her position?

WNC gives you an extra point for residency/good neighbor, but I had enough points top get in without it so I don't really know what I got in the end. I think we will prob know for sure by tomorrow. Did you try to add the nursing classes? I couldn't...
