May I ask how long ago that was, I was thinking about doing Northside's OR residency, but I want to be somewhere that offers the best training possible - learning how to both scrub and circulate.

Are you still working for Northside or no? Was interested in their OR residency, but based on your info., I may reconsider...

So, I finally got my letter - I thank God that I was accepted!!!!!!! To all those still waiting, don't get discouraged, I didn't think I would get in, but by the grace of God, I did!!!!!! Don't lose hope!!!!

Your status still hasn't changed? I know it's hard and extremely frustrating but don't give up - you never know, it may just turn out to be positive....

Soulseeker, I second what KellH_2014 said- when one door closes, another will open-I'm a firm believer of that. Good advice KellyH! Your dream of becoming a nurse will happen one way or another!

Trust me, I know it's tough trying to be patient, but you never know, you may get contacted...totally rooting for you!

Based on previous posts from people who were waitlisted years prior, seems that is what they do-contact the people who were waitlisted and see if they are still interested.

That's a disappointment...30 more students could have gotten accepted if that is the case... Now, I'm really nervous - still haven't received my letter. It was supposedly sent out on May 7th - shouldn't take this long....

For those of us still waiting or have been waitlisted - there is still hope...some people may decide to change their minds later on or unforeseen circumstances may prevent them from attending the program - we'll just have to wait and see, but don't ...

KellyH, was it one of the school reps. that told you they only accept 120?
