Just taking a chance to see if there are any other applicants to UNC's Spring 2012 ABSN. There hasn't been a lot of activity on here from UNC applicants, but since we have about a month left I thought we could all get together and be nervous together...

I decided yesterday to decline and consider other options if I don't get into UNC. I just can't justify spending so much money on a BSN when I will make exactly the same amount as my peers with RN diplomas, and even making less working at Duke for 3 ...

it's pretty ironic that as soon as i said that, just found out tonight that my nurse manager got a promotion and won't be in charge of hiring anymore. ...so...maybe duke is too risky after all...

I applied for MedCap and they said "according to the information I provided" I would need a cosigner. I think it's because I already have loans out from undergrad.
