Hey all! I applied to the women's health/nurse midwife track. I called earlier and they said they are hoping to send letters out next week.

If you wear the nurse stockings (used to prevent varicose veins) that come up like tights, those might help. Also, try getting white pants with back pockets if you can. They Grey's Anatomy brand makes some nice ones.

Official decisions aren't out yet for everyone else. I called and found out something funny going on with my admissions process, so don't be freaked if you haven't heard back! Once again, good luck!

I took two online A&P courses at the U of South Florida. The final was live and in-person, but the other tests were online at home. The lab was mostly labeling. No dissections. It was supplementary information for what was learned in lecture. Bas...

So true. I was denied from USF after being waitlisted and thought it was the end of the world. I am shocked I was accepted to UF, but it just goes to show that you can't always know how things will work out!

It was postmarked the 18th. It was a big envelope but only had the letter saying I was in and a pamphlet about transferring. I think admissions are somewhat rolling based on when they receive transcripts.

USF transfer with a 3.66 after final spring grades. 3.96 for pre-reqs. I had a decent amount of health-related experience, too, which I think helped. Good luck to everyone else!

NEVERMIND, I just got a call and I'm IN. I had a to contain my squeals on the phone.

They sent us official denial letters and told us the program is full for Upper Division, so I don't think any alternates for either program would get open seats at this point. Thanks for the heads up though!

I was pre-med, too, and those classes brought my GPA down. I have a 3.61 now, but if I do well this semester, it will be about a 3.7. My nursing GPA is higher, which I'm hoping will help! I'm sure a strong personal statement will make up for anything...
