  1. For those who dissected this semester: How was it? Did it help understanding A&P
  2. I was told today that our final test is canceled, becuse there is no enough time to review those 600 pages. I am so relieved, and happy. And I made 100% on nervous system.
  3. This week I have a lecture and lab exam over the whole nervous system then the week after that the "final". That is only lecture test but covers the first 600 pages from the book! I will have no...
  4. Very confussed about courses

Those who have more prerequisite classes are preparing for RN programs not LPN. Our semesters are about 5 months long.
  5. How much time of yours does it take to be a tutor a day, a week, a month? I would seriously consider to take the position. Congrats BoonersMom.
  6. Staying awake to read!!

Coffee is your friend. I think it would be harder to study if it was sunny and warm. At least you don't want to go out and spend the whole day in the zoo or in the Arboretum.
  7. Am I the only one who has time to watch TV? Have you seen the new ER show yesterday? Carter started his first scene with something like this: ... and that's the only acetylcholinesterase that crosses...
  8. Needing to relocate, any suggestions

Are you interested in Texas, too? The Dallas County CC has no waiting list. You compete every semester for the spaces available.
  9. Congrats! My best so far was 99% on muscle lecture.
  10. Lpn, Lvn, Rn

LVN is also used in Texas, and you don't need a college degree to become one, only a certification. Most LPN/LVN work in long term care. RN has college degree: associate, bachelor, master, or even...
  11. Mnemonic for cranial nerves

I will share these mnemonics with my classmates.
  12. Wow, you had a test over all these? I have to take lecture tests separately over bones, muscles and nervous system though each has at least 40
  13. This seems very complex. How do you supposed to complete the case study after some A&P 1 classes, without taking any other science
  14. What is a case study? How do you do that? We don't have any case
  15. We use Marieb's lab book and Martini's lecture book fortunately. It's so much easier to read Martini's than Marieb's. I study everything from that book and use Marieb's only when my professor tell me...
  16. Dcccd 2006

    I hope
  17. Dcccd 2006

I want to attend NL, too.
  18. Great news! :) I got the result of my second test today: Lab: 94% Lec:93% Katie
  19. We should start a letter writing
  20. Great video, thanks for sharing. There is also a fetal pig dissection, and tutorials on the brain and chemistry on this website.
  21. My tip: always start with the big picture. For example, if you study the skeleton, learn the differences between axial and appendicular skeleton first. Then learn the names of the bones and later the...
  22. It's OK, I will get one soon.
  23. Great lab pics! I also enjoyed reading your diary. Are you going to sell your NET Study Guide?
