  2. It's AUD$15,200 now.
  3. I'm still waiting for the reply from ETEA regarding the clarification. Will do email you after they respond. :)
  4. I believe the answer should be Yes, since the Philippines is where you are from and lived there for more than 6 months even after the age of 18. You also did 4 years of BSN training that is not in Australia, so yes should be the correct answer and y...
  5. The form that ETEA sent me differs from the one in the website. It says "or" in the form they sent, it's the same with ACN. Or is it because I'm applying for ETEA NSW and requirements differ from state to state? Anyhow, will send ETEA an email to f...
  6. Try also RITM for the MRSA swab. If you want to save, why not just get 2 doses of adult MMR vaccine instead, it's way cheaper than to have the serology for those 3.
  7. Thank you mgjuanRN!
  8. I think St. Lukes do conduct those tests and for maybe a cheaper alternative, just go to any Hi-Precision branch (I'm not sure though if they have MRSA swab, try to call them if they have those tests). :)
  9. Didn't know that you can rush the process, had to wait for 3 working days to get mine. :
  10. Hi paul_rn, did you already accomplished all the vaccination and serology including TST before you got your LoE? Seems that ETEA and ACN have almost similar requirements when it comes to immunisation so I'm planning to get this done already before I...

  14. Oh great! AHPRA received my application on the 22nd of Feb but I received the acknowledgement letter 5 days later which was on the 27th. Hopefully it will arrive next week based on the average processing time frame, although I'm still hopeful that I...
  15. Hi @paul_rn! Did you use any agency to enroll in ACN or is it just on your own? I'm also planning to enroll in ACN, I'm just waiting for my LoE.

^ the APCN Dean's form is different from the downloadable Dean's form at their ygroup. You need to line up in order to get the APCN Dean's form and is limited to 200+ forms only. The one in the ygroup is for the N1/N2 position who have already pass...
  17. PGH feedback

@sunako : The application for the N1 position has already been closed since April 2011, since exam schedules have already been filled up all the way until Dec 2011. Inquire to DNRD/NSO early next year (Jan2012), if they'll reopen again.
  18. Philippine General Hospital

@pipau: APCN is a 6-month training program, it's different from the manpooling of PGH. The APCN program doesn't ensure you a slot in PGH, you still have to undergo the same process of applying as a staff nurse -- exams and interviews. But the expe...

The form is free. All you need to bring is your PRC license or claim stub from the PRC. The training costs 10k though.
