Going to be a junior this fall in a 4-year BSN program. I've noticed pleased responses at at work (I'm a tech in the MICU at my local hospital) from nurses and other co-workers, often telling me I'm doing myself a huge favor going straight for my BSN...

At my hospital, there are float nurses that go somewhere new every day. That may be something to consider if you don't want to be tied to one floor.
