Yes, you need be CPR certificated before you start the program and it needs to be approved by the American Heart Association. You also need a physical and all the required vaccinations. You also need proof of medical coverage.

While we are all waiting, I have went for my CPR certification and making sure I have all my vaccinations in order. Those things are standard for all nursing schools.
