You don't get to pick your instructor or class time/day for any class/lab/clinical except for your 1 elective. Everything is assigned to you by section and you get who you get. There is only one instructor at Dallas who teaches Patho anyway. :) I did...

It's rough because you can't always plan ahead, but doable. If you have a good support system, or at least someone for hire you can call last minute when things change- you'll be ok. :)

Yes, you only have to have 2 completed before the first clinical. Other than the hospital orientation though, clinicals don't start until several weeks in; so if you get started now you'll likely have all 3 done by then and not have to worry about it...
