Hi! Is there anyone else here that got accepted into the fall '11 nursing program at Somerset community College? Or if you've already been in the program or went though it, I'd love to hear from you as well. It'd be great to know what to expect. :)

I'm a visual learner as well. I have a formerly blank area on the wall in front of me (behind my desk) that I PLASTER with post it notes. Lab values, short notes, definitions, formulas, everything!

I didn't make it in when I applied last year. (was a few points short!) I spent the year improving my stats and I'm happy to say I was accepted this time. Keep your head up and use this time as wisely as possible! You'll make it!

We have to wear all white scrubs. But thank goodness it doesn't matter where they are purchased. I got some that are cut nicely, and a bit thicker.

I was quite the opposite, I LOVED lab. I thought the motile ones were fascinating. Especially if you get to see them through a hanging drop. Just hang in there, hopefully it'll gain your interest!

First off, congrats! I'm on the same boat as well, I start the ADN classes this August. Personally I'm getting prepared, reviewing any books I can like anatomy, microbiology, and drug calculations, etc etc.
