    It took one month with the live scan.... so I'm not sure with the card. I applied for a temp license but got my perm one first :/ so I wouldn't bother with the temp license.

  5. You would still be going back and forth to the rooms, since the babies are in and out of the nursery. Not as critical though. Usually just normal labs and teaching for the parents etc.

    Yes I was a new grad. Yes I had previous experience as an extern as well as a temporary 8 week assignment as an RN. I also have a BSBA in marketing. I am at a large hospital in Fresno.

    Yes I'm currently working in CA (started yesterday). It took me 9 months to get a job. I came from Oklahoma where the jobs are plentiful. Everyone in my graduating class had a job before they graduated and took the NCLEX.

    Yes. It is better than having to wait for CA BON to tell you they need it. Just request them all.

    You definitely have to have 1+ year acute experience to get into a military hospital. Usually unit specific experience. I was suggesting it for Commuter because she has 7+ years experience.

    Have you looked at travel agencies? I know the hospital on base only hires travelers. TCMP and InGensis. You might try that for Naval Hospital Lemoore. Most people don't think to try military hospitals.

    All of California is like this. Even the small rural towns in the Central Valley where I live. I am going to Oklahoma Panhandle State University. They have an online RN-BSN program. Very affordable too.
