So a little update for those of you who have been following the thread from its begining. I applied last month for the nursing program at my local community college and today I got my acceptance letter and I will be starting the program in Jan of 201...

I don't think so. Back in November of 2010 when I did my interview for Everest I let them know I had all my pre-reqs done. I was called back for financial aid and I would have started in Jan of 2011 had I signed on the dotted line.

awww. So should I be kicking myself for not going through with it??

I thought they had a monthly payment plan as an option? If you do that do you have to make a payment on the spot? or do you have some time before having to make a payment?

woot!!! if the first year is the heftiest, thats where most of my transferred units are for! the first two semesters I only have four or three classes tops!

So does anyone know how many people were selected for the financial aide process?? And how many people have gone through and gotten their class schedule?

I have not received a phone call yet. Though, I wonder, how easy or hard it will be to transfer everest units over to a state school for a B.S. degree.

I have 5 years of medical experience so I'm not sure how that will help. I also have all my pre-reqs and general educcation transfering in except for makbye 4 classes.
