Definitely take precal! I took it in high school 8 years ago. I struggled through every minute of it but it has been very helpful for SAT, nursing admissions test and numerous other things. Great idea!!

I don't know, highest I've heard is 18. I probably had one of the lowest GPA's for the prerequisites (3.55). I still got all of the points for that portion. I had 18 points (from what I calculated.)

YEA Northlake! I'm so glad I'm going to Northlake campus instead of in downtown Dallas. I would have had to figure out parking everyday, it could have gotten very expensive! I like Northlake campus, it's very nice and peaceful.

I had 16 (maybe 18) points and an overall 93 on the hesi if that helps you gauge where you might be at. Northlake was my first choice and I got in there!

If I were you I would try calling the actual nursing department. The prerequisites are the pretty much the same, so they would be able to sit down with you and help you figure out what you still need to take. http://www.uta.edu/nursing
