Just wanted to say good luck to you all. I just started at Children's in March start group and love it there. They are very passionate about children and families. They have a very strong new grad program in addition to training on each unit.

You're the first I've heard of. Did you have 7 interviewers?

Woo hoo. Congrats. What unit did you get? I know people who applied to Nicu, onc, and med/surg.

Sorry my typing sucks. The best way to get into an ED is to become an EMT. The are usually the only ones that will be hired on as a new grad nurse.

EDs usually EMTs as techs because they have the IV certification. That would be the best way to get one.

No second interview so I'm not too sure how that is supposed to work. Donnya asked general med/surg type questions during the interview. I suppose she was interviewing me for both NICU and overall new grad position? We'll see what happens.

I hope the timing works out too. I know that UCH will withdraw offer if license isn't completed by deadline. But don't know how they confirm, if you need actual license in hand or if they'll accept an online verification.
