I asked my instructor about it and she said she's not looking for any specific number (here I am going crazy trying to find an approximate number) but the fact that it changed from a sudden 575 to 250/2hr. IS this change abnormal? Is there a possibility that there is something occluding the NG tube? Maybe change in position?

hey yall, I'm doing this case study on SBO. This patient comes in with an SBO from adhesions. Past medical history of colectomy 6 years ago and ventral hernia 2 years ago. Shes on D5,1/2NS with 20mEq KCL at 100 ml/hr. My question is: NGT suddenly drains 575ml, then 250ml over 2 hours. Is this an expected amount? Thanks!

During your interviews for medical school, did any of them ask you about nursing and why you chose medicine instead? Did they like that you took nursing classes pharm/patho etc? Hello Everyone, A friend of mine told me that he heard someone got accepted into a CRNA right out of high school. I guess it leads you to become a RN then one year in the ICU and eventually a nurse anesthesia program. The school that this person is going to is Univ. of Detroit Mercy. Have you ever heard about this program or one like it? or is it b.s?

Hello Everybody, So this is my first year in college and I plan to become a Rn from a community college. I attend HFCC and there is a wait of about a year and half . During that wait I would like to take some classes that transfer to a university's RN/Bsn program. Can anyone tell me some classes you took in that Rn/Bsn program, so I can take classes that tranfer toward it during my wait? If you have a link or any info that would be appreciated !!!!
