Going to The Philippines to complete a nursing degree is not a bad idea. Just try to get in to the top schools such as U.P., De Lasalle, UST. There are other private schools that offer a comprehensive curriculum. Goodluck!

I just hope more PBINS '09 applicants will join this thread and share their experiences. This is a good way to have an idea about the process. Also, to know that you're not alone in going through such a nerve-racking undertaking.
