I graduated in Dec '09 from UT with a degree in Nutrition :) I also took several of my prerequisite classes at ACC. About 3 or 4 of them were distance learning. I do not think that this has any impact on your chances of getting in. Good luck :)

Molly, I was a little confused by the question in your post. Are you saying that you have heard that AE MSN nurses are looked down upon by some? I don't think I have heard that before. Sorry if I misunderstood your question :) Jennifer

Out of curiosity, have either of you heard from the nursing school yet or only the GIAC? I saw that I have been accepted on the GIAC website, but haven't heard anything from the nursing school yet. Not sure if that matters or not, just wondering......

I just checked and found out that I have been accepted to UT's AE MSN program as well!! I will be entering the CNS track. Congratulations to those of you who have been accepted and I look forward to meeting everyone in June! :)
