I think having them removed is too costly and far too painful than just sitting back and keeping a small tattoo

I personally wouldnt get it removed, the process is very costly and extremely painful - whereas you could find a very good tattoo artist that could cover up the tattoo with a new one and you wouldnt even see that old one

I have the same problem w/piercings - most metals bother me (however) there are a few metals that dont - high quality gold (occasionally silver) and titanium/platinum If you guys/gals are having trouble with metals you could always try organic jewel...
