  20. seriously you can't lose with any of these programs. direct entry programs are extremely competitive and in the end we all come out as NPs, its a win win. as long as you get in somewhere, you can't lose

  22. i know for the psych specilaty if you go the child/adolescent route you can sit for the Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Exam which allows you to work with patients accross the lifespan - this may help you out whether you chose columbia or yale
