Okay, I've spent hundreds of dollars trying new shoes to get me through three 12 hour shifts in a row. What are your favorites?

Wow, I really appreciate the support. I've had many nurses tell me I have to start in Med/Surg to be a good nurse and going straight to ER isn't a good idea. I've got an interview for one ER and have my fingers crossed on another one so far....

My understanding is ICU experience would be very helpful in Life Flight but not necessarily a requirement.

Just the other evening right before shift change I had 2 pts. (both males) ask who the night RN was. Both said they didn't want the male nurse they had the night before. One said he was a liberal talking his ear off all night and the other did not ...

I've only seen one post that the person changes shoes each shift- has anyone else tried that? Having 3 pairs they change out each day for the week?
