I have been accepted to SLU AGNP for the Fall 2013! I am so excited! Congrats to you!!

I am a nurse now because of Hurst Review...I only had 75 questions and no math!! I had taken about 5 other review courses and they don't equate to Hurst Review...I love you Marlene Hurst!!

If you are fresh out of school I would go with Exam Cram for a book. Saunders is also good if you need a more comprehensive reivew. For a great review online or live review I would go with Hurst Review. For questions I would go with Kaplan's Q-bank.

That is what I used to pass. I only had 75 questions. For questions, I would suggest Kaplan Q-bank, if you don't have access to Kaplan I suggest LaCharity, or Med-Surg Sucess, or CD in the back of Mary Ann Hogan's book.

For the NCLEX I only studied Ch 2 in Exam Cram-RN book-Pharmacology and the TV Drugs. I had 5 from Exam Cram and 5 TV drugs and I passed with 75 questions.

You will enjoy Hurst Review. That is what I used to pass after being out of school for nine years. Make sure you talk out loud and lecture to your self or you can also record your self lecturing and go back and critically listen to yourself and critq...

ok, great..Were the CD's expensive? Infection control is a biggie on the NCLEX as well. I take mine on February 11th. :)

I am going to really push my self today. I am trying to finish maternity, peds and management and delegation. I also want to learn two drugs today as well.

yeah, physiological integrity is a large part of the exam. I will be here next weekend as well. I will be working more on my questions next weekend. My goal next week is to review questions and work in the Lacharity book. I test in February also....

I truly agree!! It's amazing...I did the same...then as I started doing the review of questions my scores were better. I have to do basic care and comfort...I will check back with you in an hour.
