Don't go to Downstate because it is cheap. It is very difficult to get in because it is so cheap. The students are generally very motivated and willing to learn, but the administration is so disorganized and the professors are not very knowledgeable....

About placing out of classes. You can place out of pathophysiology if you take it beforehand which I woudl highly highly recomment if you can do it since the course is a 5 week course and is IMPOSSIBLE to have a good grasp on that material in 5 weeks...
