  1. Network as much as you can. Talk to people. You never know if that new friend knows someone down the pipeline. That is the only way I have gotten my jobs. Best of Luck.
  2. Thank you you for responding. I have only worked per diem, which is why I am finally starting a new per diem position where I will get the experience that I need. I will also continue to work in the clinic. I have my ASN and many big facilities in Boston will not hire ASN and they want you to have experience. I am currently pursing my BSN and expect to be done next year.
  3. I have been an working as an RN for 1.5 years. For the past year I have been working in a small clinic "rooming" patients. I asked patient's questions regarding there visits, take vital signs, give neb treatments, medication and many vaccines. I also triage phone calls at times. My problem is that I am not using all my skills and I feel like I just don't know anything anymore. I seldomly deal with lab reports and do not do many assessments. I feel like I have lost a lot of what I learned in school. I will be starting a new job next week and will gain a ton of experience, but I am worried that I will not always have answers for many things. One of my big concerns is that I do not deal with meds regularly and am afraid of not knowing all the drugs right off the top of my head without looking it up. Does anyone have advice for me? Thank you
  4. Thank you so much for the helpful information. I will be taking this exam soon. I want to finish my BSN as fast as I can.
  5. Medic2514, Thank you for the great info. I am a little worried about the time factor. I like to reread things a couple of times. Are you able to go back and review the passage once you start answering questions? Also is it true that there are 140 questions?
  6. For those of you that have taken the Analyzing and Intrepreting CLEP exam, what study materials did you use? How long did you prepare before taking the exam? Thank you
  7. TiffyRN, Did you take the stats course in 15 weeks or 8 weeks? I am taking it in 15 weeks and I am hoping this will help me considering I expect to struggle with it. 8 weeks would not work for me
  8. I need to take a statistics for my BSN degree with EC. I am absolutely terrible with algebra. I am considering taking the stats for health care, but not sure if I am going to struggle with this. Can someone offer some advice please. Thank you
