I did.. I took Lynn Fredericks.. I have to say, that the EC conferences did more for me. Check out the CPNE board for anyone selling or willing to give you an EC dvd of the CPNE. I can't remember, but I think it was a bit pricey. Someone gave me an older version on the boards for free. I payed it forward and gave it to someone else. The EC dvd makes you feel like you are actually taking the CPNE. It lets you know exactly what to expect. I also got Robs CPNE, which you can google. It is worth the money for the lab set up. Also if you look up Vanessa's CPNE on youtube, that is extremely helpful. You could watch that for free.. it is just as good as Rob's.
As you can see, I used many resources. If I had to do it again, I would have done EC workshops and cpne dvd only, with Vanessa's youtube.. I hope this helps.. I just wanted you to get a feel for what is out there.
One more thing.. You MUST read, reread and reread again your study guide. You would be surprised how many things you will miss. It is overwhelming when you first start it, but things come together as you review it, time and time again. Take notes, take side notes of questions you have. You can post it on the Cpne board and eventually have phone calls to proctors.
Sheri Taylor and Lynn Fredrick (look in yahoo for Lynn) have practice careplans that they will grade you on for free.. Do these as well.
I hope this helps!
