  1. The one question I'm having a hard time prepping for is "what are your weaknesses?" I have all of my questions well thought out and this one is difficult because I definitely don't want to say the wrong thing!
  2. Thanks to all of those that gave helpful interview tips. I just had my interview for L&D new grad internship today!!! i think it was the best interview i've ever had and i felt like this is the place for me :) hopefully i have as good of luck as the others did with their similar stories! as for going into L&D as a new grad myself i think no matter where we start off at, it will all be overwhelming at first. that's what questions and preceptors are for though :) crossing my fingers
  3. do you think it would be wise to join something like AWHONN while I'm in my last year of BSN nursing school so I could put that on my resume upon graduation/applying? Do they even allow students to join?
  4. I just finished my nicu clinical too. There were several males in the unit, one of which I had the chance to work with personally. He was very knowledgable and just as equipped to care for the babies as his other female coworkers if not better...and they absolutely LOVE having him as a member of their pod. Besides, if nicu is truly your passion don't let something like gender get in your way-you'll do great :wink2: good luck!
