Hi Hookem, You only need 2 more replies and you can send private messages. My main question was if you had any opinions of the 2 teachers listed that are teaching online level one. I haven't found anything about them on ratemyprofessor, etc.
Okay, what is your background? I have worked for a hospital here in Austin for 7 years, hiring nurses. I recently resigned my position and I have been working as a clinical assistant on nights 7p-7a.

No, just as long as your completion rate/gpa is okay. The goal should be to get A's in all your classes. Fall 09 was competitive since there were people on the list from last time who didn't get in and you get 6 pts added each time you wait.

If you can devote all your time to it, I say go for it. But remember A's count towards getting in. There were a lot of people I know for the Fall 09 class that didn't get in and they had a B or 2.
I've hired a lot of GN's who have taken online and in class. Everyone really likes the online class, you have to be very disciplined though. They seem to have a maturity because of the discipline it requires.
Hola, I'm waiting too. I'm hoping it won't be too long past the first. Since Fall registration is May 18th you'd think they'd have the letters out before then.
Yes, I hire nurses and it's very competitive if you want something besides med/surg. It shows the hiring manager that you are thinking ahead. You will have more options to choose from if you start applying now. Any facilities that tell you to wait...
