I'll pray for you too. Just treat your patient like he or she is a close friend or family member. Chat with them all the while you are doing your skills--while explaining what you are doing. If you catch yourself forgetting something, just back ...

WCCCD has no waiting list. It goes by GPA of pre-reqs. Less $$$, Less time, & approximately $0.30 per hr pay difference. I could be mistaken but that's what I've been told. You can always go for the BSN or further later. I hope that helps.

Of course, apply. But if you are really concerned about your GPA, take micro over. At the info meeting, I remember hearing: "If you get a "C" in one of the sciences, you probably want to take it over." Check the other threads or call the NUR offi...

$28K in school loans is getting screwed over--LPN or RN. Don't forget, those loans are not the low interest loans offered through the CCs. I agree, go the community college route. What if you want to continue your education? You're going to want/...

Hi, I did my OB rotation at Hutzel. I loved it down there. They provide student parking & a shuttle service. It's not too far but I was on the day shift & had to be there 1/2 hr. early so that I'd make it to the floor on time. There's a...
I hear ya goofy! Everything you said is so true! I'm also a senior this fall. I took classes towards my bachelor's just so I could keep up the momentum of NS. I am happy I did although quite envious of those laying in the sun (my day will come......

From experience: I had to take my Micro in the summer (last pre-req). I too, thought I could apply for fall but could not. I just wanted to say that it really worked out well because it gave me a semester to work on the co-reqs. I managed it so th...
Hi, Welcome! This is an awesome site. You will love it! You are somewhat correct regarding WCCCD's lottery. Mrs. N puts the names in a bucket & as she picks them & calls the names out, we pick the clinical site we prefer. The earlier w...
