    I interviewed there year before last. Got hired, oriented then no one called me for work nor returned my calls. Always nice when that happens so in a word, no I did not get work.

    My dad did the same thing, then progressed to being angry and that was as far as he got in grieving cycle. I am sorry your walking the road I did. It is VERY hard.

    I would say therapy first, then nursing....do an evaluation for adaptive aides. I have done them but gladly turf it to therapy first.

    Jennifer glad your paid well. That position I worked for capped mileage at 50 per month, no cell phone reimbursement, no office time pay, on call pay of woopie 100 per week and gee a 7 county coverage...

    My last hourly wage in home health with paperwork, visits, mileage, office time, on call etc worked out to be around 10.00 per hour. That is why this RN is not doing visits anymore,

    Our taxes are so complicated with 2 home based businesses and us working several jobs it is a nightmare. I just give the CPA who does ours, each of our mileage log books. You have to have a log book...

    I assume your talking about the Indian Run facility. I have been in there before for appointments but never worked there. People were nice and actually smiling so that seems like a good indicator....

    JUlie, I am sure that is very frustrating. I agree follow up the chain of command. Pass the DON is you have too. Offer to the resident something like, "Would you like to talk to the DON about this?'....
