^ Good for you, kyckerz! Ugh - I hope I'd have the same luck as you. I'm still hoping that they're wrong and they still need some more nurses (lol: non-therapeutic: denial)!
  2. want to use my married name

But when you sit for the NCLEX, wouldn't they require your passport as an ID? Do correct me if I'm wrong though. I have the same case as hers, everything else is still in my maiden name except for my passport. Thanks!
  3. I can totally relate... Maybe for three months I always end up crying, beating myself up whenever I get home from duty because I feel so incompetent whenever I forget to do something for the patient (and it doesn't help that I don't have any friends ...

When I called them about applying as a staff nurse in AHMC, she told me they have 100 staff nurses in their pool who are ready for deployment. For those who have passed their resume late in January 2009 or in February 2009, they already have their sc...

  8. anyone here applied for SLMC-GC???

  9. anyone here applied for SLMC-GC???

Try to find the SLMC website and send your resume there (there IS an e-mail address there - you just have to write in the subject of your e-mail "Staff Nurse Resume for SLMC - Global City," or something like that, to have it sent to the respective HR...
  10. anyone here applied for SLMC-GC???

I got scheduled for my initial exam after maybe 1.5-2 months after I passed my resume through e-mail. One has to really wait because so many nurses want to be a part of SLMC. Just do other things (certifications or training) or maybe pass your resume...
  11. anyone here applied for SLMC-GC???

I did pass my resume via email, and they responded immediately. The first time I passed my resume was through the guard, but I didn't get any texts from them, so a month later, I decided to pass my resume through email (you can email them through the...

  18. oncolgy nursing training course?

Try asking hospitals with cancer institutes and ask if they allow unaffiliated nurses to join the training. The hospital I worked for have a cancer institute and they trained some staff nurses for Brachytherapy. I hope this helps.
  19. oncolgy nursing training course?

Have you heard of Brachytherapy? I'm afraid there is no training course about doing chemotherapy... The hospital I worked for had their staff nurses undergo Brachytherapy training because the hospital has facilities for that. Does your hospital have...

  21. Are NC-CLEX trainings recognized by hospitals HERE in the PI?

There were already threads concerning about NC-CLEX, I know you've read about them. If I were to train for something that I'll use for the hospitals here, I might as well go to trainings recognized by ANSAP, PNA, Red Cross... I'm a bit wary about NC...
