Lucky you guys. It is very uncommon that we are able to do 1:1 with our CABG's. Most of the time, we already have another patient. I just think its very unsafe, since you barely have any time for the other patient after the CABG arrives.

Can someone please help me. The doctor has ordered Dopamine infusion, pat. weighing 80 kg. Concentration to be used is 400mg/250cc. Doc wants to start infusion at 5mcg/kg/min How many cc/hr would that be. My calculation was: 400mg/250cc X 1000 / 6...

And what if you need mcg/min. 50mg in 250cc. Start at 10cc/hr. I need to go back to school

You definitely do not need to know all of them for the NCLEX. Know your basics.

If thats what CGFNS wants, then there is no way around it. I would have just told my school to take an educated guess and that would have solved the problem long time ago. Good luck !!

It is reliable. Nobody can tell you if you passed or failed. You can pass with 75 q's but you can also fail with 75 q's. If you dont want to do the PVT then you have to wait.

Worked for me, took Nclex on August 1st and got the official results today Tried the trick an hour after my exam and got the good pop up :)

Also took my NCLEX RN today and got the good pop up !! I am so relieved :) !!!!

How were the infection control questions like ??

I got 76% also and I dont think its bad. I think its pretty good. Got 62% on my first try several weeks ago. I also had 1 correct to incorrect, but also 3 incorrect to correct. I had to learn to trust my first instinct while preparing for the NCLEX....

One decimal number is for example: 16.79 would be 16.8 16.33 would be 16.3 Its 1 number after the POINT. Numbers UNDER 5 are rounded to the lower number, numbers ABOVE 5 are rounded to the higher number. Pounds divided by 2.2 is so and so man...

I think almost all Boards require an English Test for international nurses. Some require the CGFNS Test, some dont. Just go on CGFNS.org. You will find out everything there.
