At our hospital, the detox unit is staffed with 1 RN, 2 LPNs, and 2 unit coordinators to 21 beds. Second shift averages 5-7 admissions.

Now this sounds great if family insurance coverage is affordable and would cover the family. They can stay in the cold and I can be in the heat/sun for 6 months. :)

Yes, I would like to work here and travel for 3-4 months during the colder months. I just can't figure out how to keep the health insurance for family this way.

I don't think I could do that as I am the carrier of the insurance for the family. If I leave the job, I don't have the insurance
