That's great to hear! I guess you are never too old. However, it would be an easier decision if I were 10 years younger. :)

Just an update, I decided on Sage.

I am not in a Nurse Practitioner Program yet but I just wanted to say that I hope things get better. I hope that your anxiety can be lessened somehow. That is sad and tough that your instructors are unapproachable. :(I

Ideally, I would love to find a way to stay in the area and work my hours instead of commuting. There is not much, in my area, for opportunities. We have one healthcare system monopolizing the area.

This hospital is set up the same way, there is shuttle you take the hospital. So, that would be added time. If I could figure out a way to stay in the area for 2 or 3 12 hr shifts, it would be wonderful. I don't know anyone who works there though.

If a train was an option that would make it a much easier decision :)

I do think the experiences will be much better and the work environment a more positive place.

I agree. It is unprofessional to have the student find their own mentors for clinical placements, IMO.

Is there a way to search just the travel nursing board? I see the search box above that searches all of allnurses. Can I narrow that down to this board?

Where I live we have three LPN programs in my area alone. ADN nurses are still being hired at our local hospital although BSN is preferred and some hospitals within an hour driving distance are requiring a BSN to be hired.
