  1. I have been an LPN for 33 years mainly in Occupational Health and Health & Wellness. I would love to find a part time work from home / nursing job health coaching, telemed, etc. I am not sure where to start looking but am sure that they are out there after the pandemic. When I search, the positions are generally for RNs. Can someone route me in the right direction please?
  2. Can anyone recommend a medical recruiter? I am looking for a Remote LPN position. TIA
  3. Can someone PM me a good medical recruiter please? I would like to find a remote LPN position
  4. I have been an LPN for over 30 years working in Occupational Health and Insurance / Health Coaching. I'm very good working independently. I split my time between FL and IN and am looking for a remote / work from home type job which will allow me to continue working. Can someone suggest any companies that are conducive to this please.
  5. That is awesome. I have followed a low carb diet for 10 years...I hate the word diet. It's not a diet. It's how I eat. Weighed 230 about 17 years ago now fluctuate bewteen 130-140. Would love to do something like this!
  6. Yes. I'm currently taking a class online through Wellcoaches but I would like to do something P/T maybe contracting. Just starting to look to see what's out there. Any info would be helpfull. Thanks!!!

Not true..I am an LPN. Have been one for over 20 years. I've worked for several large corporations most of which were by myself. I had the same basic nursing classes that an RN's have. I treated emergencies, gave vaccines, taught CPR and Wellness programs, took care of Workers Comp and OSHA, and did case management with and without the doctors. There is no written rule or guideline stating that you have to be an RN. The botton line is..there are nurses who know what they are doing and nurses who don't. And we all know plenty of both!

I just came across a PT job with Concentra working as a PRN occupational health nurse at different companies doing drug screens, giving flu shots, etc. I'm an LPN---any idea what the pay is like and how they are to work for??
  10. Amen! Every time I look at this thread, it's all IVY TECH. It's of no use to me. May I suggest a thread just for IVY TECH Let's take a role call and go from here: I am an LPN. I am an independent contractor. I do drug testing and corporate health testing. It's a fun job and I love it!
  11. I have been an LPN for 19 years. I've done corporate health testing and brief onsite health coaching for the last few years. I would like to get a certificate in wellness coaching. Has anyone done this and know which programs are preferred. I would like to do it online or at a seminar if possible. Any details you can give will be appreciated.
  12. Well that at least answers one question. I had no idea how long it had been on there. I sent an email to the address on their website, I will call on Monday. If I find anything out, I will post. Thanks for the info.
  13. The Indiana State Board of Nursings website just has a generic message basically saying that it is on hold---the law passed but something happened. No date when this was posted or why or when or if they expect it to go into effect? Any info would be appreciated.
