  1. Have to agree with David. Something isn't right.
  2. You are so brave. Esp if you go back to the same employer. I couldn't do it. I'd feel so embarrassed and looked down upon. I'd have left nursing but glad you can do this!! Hope you do well. God bless.
  3. Just say you believe in God? It doesn't get you to heaven but it's worth a try

My license is current but I'm not LOL. I have not done home health since 2013. Many employers want recent experience. Am I dead in the water now?
  5. Sorry to hear this. I am from Minneapolis!! What part of MN are you in?
  6. I wish I could do retirement homes but passing pills to 30 people seems impossible. Tried it one night then quit. Crush this, don't crush that LOL.
  7. Aww well, it will all work out and yes, Jesus has your back. You are humble and that is awesome!! Keep letting God lead you. I just had kind of a god-moment in the last hour. He finally heard my anguish and tears. I know he always hears, but you know what I mean haha. I've been out of my mind with worries about a job and bills and all. Feel free to PM me anytime!
  8. Forgot...how did you become a hospital contractor? And what is it exactly LOL
  9. Don't let the devil put fear in you. He's a liar. Press on and go for it, you got THIS far
  10. Don't leave us hanging here meanie
  11. ejk123, your handle reminds me of my email ending of 123 haha. I used it b/c I have 3 kids and also used their initials for the first part of the email addy. Anyway, I wanted to ask you a question about the CNA shifts you mentioned you do occasionally. I'm an LPN in Tampa who misses active patient care. I'm tempted to a CNA rather than an LPN. I'm not wild about boring home care and am NOT going to pass pills all day at a nursing home etc. I wish I had gotten a 4 yr. RN degree right off the bat but I'm now 54 and my memory sux for going back to school. It sounds crazy but I almost don't even care about the money. Can you tell me more of why you did CNA work while being an RN? Or you can just DM me? Thanks!
  12. Anybody want some popcorn while I'm up?
  13. Her strong DESIRE to contact the DON? LOL. Now who is an assumer?
  14. Is anybody here in Tampa?
  15. Why do people have to treat people the way they do? Especially the way the experienced nurses treat new nurses. That's what scares the crap out of me to go back to school. I'm an LPN and there's no way I can do four years of RN school I can't even look in the lab microscope and put my glasses back on to look at the teacher LOL, and I can't get above a D in anatomy!!
  16. There were two times I completely forgot to register my car lol. So I drove around without the sticker for a whole year two times total and I never got caught but my husband did. $130 bux cha ching
  17. Hey where in Florida do you work
  18. Wow what a great and interesting question. Never been pulled over to or from work I don't think. But if it was my cousin Joey who pulled me over he would let me go for sure LOL.
  19. Oh, and if u want to make the REALLY good money, be a traveling nurse!
  20. Lpn in Tampa FL and here we get paid well in nursing homes. But please don't waste even one yr getting an LPN license. Not worth it. Go for 4 yr RN because hospitals now, atleast here, only hire 4 yr Grads now.
  21. Did you ever find one? Just found this email while deleting thousands of other ones haha.
  22. That is EXACTLY why in Minnesota I quit on my first night. Plus, three ppl cracked their heads open and bled.
