    You really dont owe him anything, just do your hours with him and if you do decide to work with him then that is the time he can set those experiences up for you and as a new NP that is working urgent care now. Youll need it:)

    I agree with the above post. Sounds like she needs insulin.One you started combining and adding on stuff , it may just be easier to go on insulin.. She could always get off of it. If shes doing the things she needs too.

    when this happened before ive seen nps conduct visits and the go to their collabs and say hey this is a first visit or there new to the practice, will you go introduced and lay eyes on the patient.

    ok. if i read this right. Yes she has to come in to be seen by the MD because the inital visit is suppose to be performed by the MD, who has to lay eyes on that patient.

    No paps until after 21 years old, every 3 years. I would keep with the guideline and practice that way.

    I chose home study review. I had the materials and I learn better that way, but I agree with PP its about how you learn best. Dont take both tests.

    Geez why even precept? someone drop the ball there. But the climate is like that out there for NPs, some doctors just dont know how to appreciate what we can bring to the table but hey were here to stay!
