So, what does LHTI stand for? I see it has something to do w/ ExamSoft~
Also, on the FA Davis account creation page I don't see a MEPN option - has anyone done this already?
I asked in the chat option on the DPS website and it (the virtual assistant) said, "The fingerprint card will be mailed via USPS to the mailing address on your application." 🤷♀️
Yeah, I was excited when I heard they found out so quickly last year, but now I've heard differently so - I'm just gonna stop waiting and be surprised when the email comes. 🤷♀️
Good luck everyone! Hopefully I'll see some of you in Tucson soonis...
😂I finally changed my alert settings on my phone so it would let me know when I get a new email without constantly checking. Yeah, I agree, by Wed would be awesome. (Tomorrow would be awesome-er - but either way it would be 'early', so meh)
I'm doing the same thing, LOL, but trying not to be too hopeful until Monday (that way I can be surprised with an email tomorrow..??). I know it would be better to be waitlisted than just not make it in, but I'm almost more worried about that because...
It's probably obvious to everyone but I want to make sure I have the right idea, that labs are like skills practice just not with real patients, right?
Thank you both so much for all the info. I tend to overthink/work, and it sometimes hurts me in the long run, so I'll definitely take your advise to try and relax before... if I get in, of course...eek..? - actually, I'll probably try to take that ad...
We might find out that quickly! Eeek! I think I must be more nervous than I realized because just thinking about it right now is making my stomach hurt ? OMG, you guys
I'm so sorry! My first couple of answers were pretty awful, too - I bet you'll be surprised though - The time limit and new platform will throw a lot of us off, so hopefully it wasn't as bad as you think. And even if it wasn't great, hopefully your s...
The timing was a little difficult for me. The first couple question I tried to go right up to the end, but you really have to leave a little space so you don't get cut off. Otherwise, yes - though the practice questions are definitely to get used to ...
Okay, done! I was just going to practice today, but I felt good, so figured I'd go for it, LOL - Good luck everyone! I'm going to go pass out now, haha
I thought the info on the format of the answers they want was helpful. Will definitely do a few practice questions to get the timing down - yeah 1 minute is - well, concise, for sure. Hoping to get it done on Friday.
I feel strangely relaxed about the interview. Anyone else not as nervous as they thought they'd be? Maybe I'll feel it more as the window gets closer - Did ya'll go to the info session today?
@Cozycat, So, if it helps put your mind at ease, after one of the online info sessions we received a packet of info with statistics from the previous couple years admissions. It said the average HESI score for people who were accepted was 91-93% over...
University of Arizona. And MEPN is Master's Entry to the Profession of Nursing - for non-nurses w/ bachelors in other fields. After the 15 mo. program you graduate w/ a nursing Masters.
@smallspatula - Maybe contact the admissions office - they have a list of all AZ schools and the course equivalents they accept - and out of state ones too, if they've ever been requested before. - Best not to take chances, imo
