Update: I actually had 90 points in total when I’m actuality I thought I applied with 84. I was told that the life development psych class I took over the Summer at GWC was actually transferable to both of the Lifecycle classes at Saddleback! So if you guys are looking for an easy way to get a total of 6 points by just taking one class, that’s an open suggestion.

you'll get them next time! make sure you get MORE hours by work experience bc I think that is where you will max it out! your GPA and TEAS are good, let's try to work on maxing out other categories! and if you were proficient in a second language that could help as well! good luck and thank you! I believe in you!I think so far, your application is good. possibly earning yourself some EMT hours would maybe get you up there and make your app stand out as having patient care hours will def help out your app. I started working as an EMT earlier this year of April and within about 5.5 months I was able to get 1000+ hours. Now given, I did do A LOT of 10+ hr shifts and I work full time. Your TEAS is already fine, your GPA, it's fine as well. Just get those patient care hours. I feel like at any CC, they would rather much prefer someone who has some type of experience in the field. plus you paid good money to go to an EMT program and take the NREMT. you said so yourself, you're already licensed, now let's just get that license going. Cerritos won't have applications open until Jan 2022. With that being said though, Cerritos does have a Special Admissions Opportunity for Spring 2022. However, I believe they used the applicants that kept their application with them from March 2020. Cerritos has invited me to their orientation for this upcoming Monday, Oct 4.I believe that when I checked the other day, for me, it said completed. You might want to contact A/R on Monday to see if they did receive your documents. If I’m not mistaken official transcripts are due by Oct 1 by 5PMthank you so much! In the email it said “If you are receiving this letter, you submitted an application in the prior application cycle, were FULLY QUALIFIED for the program, and have NOT asked to withdraw your application from consideration.” I think they already had selected their student for the Spring sem last year, but IDK what’s happening. I am most def trying to jump at the opportunity tho!
