  9. Hi, I took four classes last semester ( intro to healthcare, race, Chemistry (1 and 2) and advanced social writing. You don’t need to buy textbook, they give e-book which is really good. It’s a lot of writing but it’s interesting. I am taking an...
  10. Wow! 70% is a very high score and beyond proficient, it's either Monroe is filled for the Spring semester and they intend to admit for the April session. With that TEAS score, most schools will give you admission.
  11. Anyone currently attending Monroe College?

The financial Aid department is suppose to reach out to you.
  12. Maybe they will put you in for next session. The new class starts January 8th. Do they want you to take the TEAS again?
  13. Your grade is perfect. I don’t see why they are delaying you though. It’s weird.
  14. I am surprised too. I applied maybe in September and received my admission letter in December or November (can’t remember). Your score is good because it’s above the proficient mark. Not sure what your GPA is though maybe they also put that in consid...
  15. For real? I didn’t know that. My maths and English was the lowest score in my TEAS. I focused more on the science part, so I got 80 in science. Not sure if Monroe changed their admission score because the last time I checked all you need was a profic...

  17. Anyone currently attending Monroe College?

I am starting the accelerated nursing January 8th. Glad to meet someone who is already in the program. What advice will you give the new student. For me, I want to still be able to work while going to school.
  18. I don’t know, I don’t understand them either. I took most of my pre-req at city tech. Monroe wants me to take Chemistry and maths class again because it’s over 5 years.
  19. Yes, we have to. I got Chemistry, intro to healthcare, global, advance writing and Chemistry lab. They said we have to finish taking all the major prerequisites before starting the main nursing courses in September.
  20. Don’t give up, there is hope. I didn’t bother applying to other schools, Monroe was perfect for me because I had all the requirements and didn’t want to stress taking the TEAS exam again; a proficient score is all you need to get in.
  21. Yeah, you might have to wait till fall because I heard the class is currently full. Good thing you have most of the required class, you might not have to take them again.
  22. With a proficient score and a good GPA, your chances are very good. Keep fingers crossed and hope for the best.
  23. Sure. Send me an email on [email protected], also you have to pay a down payment to get registered for class.
  24. @anlm93 they sent me the classes they registered me for. Taking 13 credits (intro to health care, Chemistry, race and ethics, and advance writing) they said something about completing all the required prerequisites for Monroe and then start the nursi...
