Me too ! ? Med/surg & tele with tele being my first choice. Did they tell you what days you are interviewing?

YAY! Did they specify when the second interview is? I got called last week on Friday and said to expect a email today but I still haven't received anything yet! Did they tell you a time and also which units did you say you are going to interview with ?

How did it go ? ?

It was like one scenario but questions are asked from that scenario. It was like a whole shift report... It was a long scenario with like patient info, history, diagnosis, labs etc. I didn't think it was bad at all ! It was really straight forward to me. Of course I could have answered it more smooth, but I think I did okay even tho I didn't really study anything prior. Just be prepared with common diagnoses for patients and what you would do for them as a nurse. We already have the knowledge from nursing school and I am sure you will be okay ! ? also have a piece of paper and pen nearby! you are allowed to write things down

It was a panel interview & everyone was super friendly and nice. They took turns and asked some basic questions like tell me about yourself, why do you want to do nursing, etc. There was also scenario questions. Just relax, be calm, and be yourself! You guys got this !! Let me know how it goes !

also called ! They just said to keep checking the portal. But there hasn't been a single update since submission! Does yours say "under review" or has anything changed?

I just got a call for an interview today ! They said they aren't sure what units are hiring and are still deciding on that but I let her know my options. First interview for me is next week (virtual panel) and then if that goes well, a second interview with hiring managers. They said program starts 10/19.

I have not received a rejection or an interview either. I just spoke with HR to see what is going on and basically she said the talent advisors would have more info regarding that and I should email them... but there was no specific talent advisor name in any of my emails... so I am not sure. I asked multiple questions but the person who picked up has no idea on any of the questions we all have haha..

No I have not ! Sorry ? There is a instagram account called rnnewgrads and also a southern cali fb page for new grads and I might have seen some people applied there ! Maybe you can check it out and connect with others there ! ?

I am taking my NCLEX on 09/02 so I don’t want to apply yet if I don’t have my license yet and risk not even getting my stuff looked at ? ! Thank you for the heads up on the assessment. What is on the assessment ?

Thank you ! Hm, I think the job posting for the one you applied to is probably closed because I don't see it.. But thank you so much for giving me the link ! I will try for the Saddleback one. But I won't be taking my NCLEX till 09/02.. and hopefully the application doesn't close ? & hopefully we get news about our other apps and get an interview at least from one of the places we applied to ! Fingers crossed for us!!

For Orange Coast, which site did you use to apply? When I looked it up on their actual career page I don't see a "new grad" and when I Google it, it only pops up on random websites... Can you please direct me? & WOW! you applied to quite a few already. I am trying to apply to as many as I qualify for. I haven't taken my NCLEX yet, so it is quite difficult

Maybe they are still reviewing since I have been hearing a lot of applicants are applying for new grad programs ! I only applied to White Memorial. Then this week Dignity Health opened up a tele new grad and also USC Verdugo Hills. They are both in Glendale ! Thats all I applied to thus far.... Did you apply anywhere else ?

I think Glendale started their apps earlier (from what I saw on all the job postings) so they prob will start earlier? Not 100% sure tho ! But still have not heard anything from White Memorial & nothing changed on application for me either. I don't think they will be able to interview everyone in a few days the start date is prob later... Honestly, all these apps and dates are so confusing. Did you apply to both locations?

Im not sure when the start date is and I don't see anywhere that has the official start date? But they have not done any interviews yet so I am guessing it will be later. Also my friend is currently in the March new grad program and she mentioned that they said it will be a September start but wasn't too specific on dates. Let me know if you hear/see anything !:)
