Applied for Sept 2021 intake RPN with highschool U marks - QUESTIONS!!
I am glad that you're having luck finding other individuals. LOL, I have been actively searching on reddit and other platforms to try and connect with my fellow nursing team for September 2021 @ Seneca college

Seneca PN program
https://www.cno.org/en/become-a-nurse/approved-nursing-programs/practical-nursing-programs-in-ontario/ This states that the update is from June 2019, I do apologize for the delay, but I'm just seeing your question now.

Humber second entry question
Thanks for answering the initial question. I'm aware of high school courses and what their endings mean. I already have my back up plan in effect.

Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2020
Thank you for applying. Yes, I'm aware of all of the alternative options that are available. I'm glad that I have options. It's just a bit confusing now considering the climate of things with COVID and classes being online. It's partly my fault as I didn't do more research prior to completing my diploma. If anything, I'll just complete pre health and do PN (since I'll have transfer credits from my nonNursing diploma) and then complete the bridge. As indicated with HappyGuarantee123. LOL this is what happens when you dodge your intuition. I pursued other career avenues and nursing always came back into play. Oh well...better late than never.

Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2020
HappyGuarantee123 Thank you for replying...I am still new to this forum so I don't know how to directly apply to your comment LOL. I will wait to hear back from Humber as they stated they do take other applicants into consideration. I'm enrolled in a Pre Health program so I will just apply after I've completed it. That's another option as well.

Humber second entry question
Hey folks, If someone can please provide some clarification as to whether I would qualify to apply to this program. I have completed two diplomas at Seneca College (Liberal Arts University Transfer GPA 3.1) & Social Service Worker: Immigrants & Refugees (completed GPA 3.5+). Would I qualify as an applicant for this second entry program? I have reached out to Humber and haven't heard anything. I wanted to know if there were any other college applicants? 2 year diplomas are classed as 60 credits. Really excited and nervous, please let me know.

GBC-Spring 2021
I've been browsing around on this forum for the last couple of months and I haven't seen any posts about George Brown College PN for Spring 2021. I'll be doing the pre health first and then applying for the Spring semester. I am somewhat nervous, but overall I am excited. Just curious to see who else will be traveling this route and or for those who have already gone through this experience.

I'm no longer pursuing nursing
Hi Tiffany, I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing such difficulties. I agree with the post above...there are other ways to get into a university nursing program. It might be a few extra steps and some money, but there is no straight path to get to your destination. It also doesn't matter how long it takes you to get there, but as long as you finish. It can be tough and discouraging, but you came this far. Maybe you're learning style has changed and or you're not incorporating things into your schedule in order to help you get the grades you know that you're capable of achieving. Speaking from experience, I struggled in elementary school math and had awful math teachers. I barely passed grade 9 math and then excelled with flying colours in the applied grade 10 math - I took mixed level math in grade 11 and did well. However, I gave myself some time after graduation and I ended up doing well in college math. Now, I have a completely different perspective on math and I actually enjoy it. The important thing is to weigh your options and explore your other avenues. Sometimes things don't work right now, but that doesn't mean it won't work later. Hope this helps ?
