FL IPN and completion requirements
Hi Pixie. So at the end of your contract, like the week of or after, your case manager will usually reach out and let you know about the discharge process. You could reach out to your CM and follow up, but they won’t know until your case is reviewed by the CM and affinity. Just keep doing what you’re doing, avoid dilutes and be patient.

FL IPN and completion requirements
From what I’ve read from different posts is that you have to get a urine, hair, and blood all done for completion. I think this is expected. At least you’ve heard from them though. My 60 days out was last week and I haven’t heard a thing from anybody about early termination ?

FL IPN and completion requirements
Just bumping this. Did you get a response to this? I spoke with my case manager and was told that contract can be put up for review two months earlier than original completion date. Did this happen for you? If so, what we’re your stipulations? One of my group members recently graduated in December. She had to obtain a letter from employer, herself, and from the group facilitator. She had one urine, blood, and hair test done. About two weeks after that, she was officially released. I don’t remember how long the entire process took. I believe early December was when her file went up for review and she was done by the end of December before Christmas.

IPN Finally got my contract.
@Elisantbtw, I spoke to my case manager and got approved for an extra shift per schedule. @messedupbigtimeI was sent to IOP cus I tested positive for marijuana. I used a cleanse wash and tested negative during the hair follicle. I said I wasn’t a frequent user. Honestly I said I used one time and as luck would have it, I was tested shortly after. Passed urine PETH and hair follicle.

IPN Finally got my contract.
No overtime but if you work a 3-4, that’s allowed. 84 hours max, per pay period.

IPN Finally got my contract.
I started IPN in March after testing positive for THC. I completed my evaluation and after three weeks, I started a 6 week intensive outpatient program (IOP). During all this time I haven’t been able to work. I graduated IOP a week ago and was contacted by IPN with details of my contract: - 2 year contract - Direct supervision - Maximum of 84 hour pay periods; no floating. No Home health. No Recovery units. - No narcotic key restriction - attend a nurse support group, therapy, and a recovery group (AA, NA, etc) of my choice weekly - submit evaluations quarterly from therapist, supervisor, recovery log seems like a lot but at this point, IM JUST READY TO GET BACK TO WORK!

IPN continues
I only had to go to Tampa for my evaluation. All the IOP facilities are in sofla that they gave me.

IPN continues
Nope! They sure don’t. I went to M.S. in Tampa. But from the extensive comments I read, he always recommends some kind of rehab. For me, it was 6 weeks of intensive outpatient in which I cannot return to work until this is complete. I’m with another nurse, tomorrow I’ll find out which facility she went to and will comment again.

Florida IPN
So I just got my report back from said Dr. I tested negative for urine, hair follicle, and PETH test. All negative. No mental health disorders. However due to my one time reported use, he suggesting that I exhibited substance taken in larger amounts and for longer periods then intended and cravings. I literally told him I smoked pot twice in my life, one being days before the urine test. It seems like no matter what, you’re going to get some sort of treatment/ program required.

Florida IPN
I went to him recently. He suggested IOP, intensive outpatient rehab minimum of 9 hours a week. I’m waiting for my actual report from him. All in all, he seemed like a nice guy. Facility was decent. Nice people.

IPN continues
To continue along this journey.. I went for my evaluation in Tampa, as they only gave me an option of three places, two in Tampa and one in Gainesville. My evaluation included a urine tox (unsupervised), a hair follicle test, and a PETH test. I also spoke to the MD for about 20 minutes. I’m not sure what my results came back as, I’m still waiting for them to send me a copy of his report and recommendations.. but IPN called me back today and let me know that his recommendations were for IOP, intensive outpatient rehab. They then sent me the number for 4 different facilities that are IPN approved. Funny enough, none of the places don’t take my insurance, so all out of pocket. The IOPs I’ve called so far range from about 6-8 weeks, about $3600-5600 for the program. I have two weeks to choose a facility but I’ll definitely be choosing one by this week! So far this process has taken about 5 weeks. 3/13 I self reported to IPN. 3/25 was my IPN eval ($900). 4/13 I received my recommendations. Next is to setup IOP. Will continue to keep everyone monitored and answer as many questions as possible!

Starting this IPN journey.
Thanks for the advice. Going for my evaluation this Wednesday! Nervous as *** as they say to expect a urine, blood, and possible hair follicle test! Yikes. I’m in no way a regular marijuana smoke but I know after my recent use that HFT is coming back positive. Detoxing now. Unfortunately with everything else going on, I can not afford a lawyer at this time. Just doing my best to stay out of rehab at this point. Will continue to keep this thread updated.

Starting this IPN journey.
So I’m a SoFla RN who tested positive for THC on March 6th. As suggested by my current job, I self reported to IPN when I got results about a week later. By the end of that day I received my initial paperwork which needed to be filled out and a passport photo mailed in. I did all of this on Saturday. By Tuesday 3/17 I got my list of evaluators (THREE EVALUATORS in the State if Florida) and I scheduled an appointment for Next week Wednesday. This whole process has been giving me extreme anxiety and I’m just ready to see this doctor, get my recommendations, and get back to work. My job luckily hasn’t fired me (yet) and I’m currently on administrative leave with instruction to keep my manager updated on any information. I’m told the whole process takes about 30-60 days. So far it’s all been pretty quick. I’m nervous about the MD I chose as I’ve heard that Tampa evaluators usually send you to rehab! in all honesty, initially with my case manager I lied and said that I was in a car where THC was being hotboxed. I haven’t told her the truth (I was pregnant in January and lost the baby beginning of February.. smoked about twice a week or so on my off days to help me cope. Honestly stopped in the beginning of March as I really felt like my life was getting back on track) but I do plan on telling the psychiatrist the truth of the situation. I’ll continue to keep you all posted on the process in hopes of helping any other RNs out there. Ant information or advice for me would be greatly appreciated.
