CSULB FALL 2020
I've been dorming at LB for 2 years and I'm planning to dorm again if I get into the program! Not sure if I'm going to get into housing next semester though, since space is really limited. At this point, I'd say it's a little late to sign up for dorming, since applications opened on April 1st.

Oh that makes sense! I just got a little confused, sorry about that. According to the Fall 2019 thread, everyone who's accepted is supposed to get an official acceptance email from SON later on. When you said you got an email, I assumed that you got that official acceptance email from SON. CONGRATS on making it into the program! Hopefully SON sends out official acceptance emails soon. Last year, students got the email from SON 5 days after transfers were notified by admissions.

Hmmm now that I think about it, the fees in the pic definitely don't look accurate. Obviously, things like stethoscope and travel to clinical sites depends on the student, but since when did the TEAS only cost $52? I paid $100! But ultimately, both you and CocoaQueen have good points. You'd have more of a commute to CSULB but you should definitely go with your gut!!

In addition to what ninja1968 said, since CSULB has shifted to virtual instruction and is encouraging social distancing due to COVID-19, the admission process might take even longer. I'm not sure if admissions is still meeting face-to-face on campus, and some of them have classes to teach and are busy scrambling to prepare online material to their students.

I'm sorry to hear that! Don't worry about it, there are plenty of options and you can always reapply. I had a 4.0 cumulative and prereq GPA and a 96.7% on the TEAS, but no volunteer work or employment that provided clinical experience. What about you? I'm incredibly shocked that they denied you. I feel that you should appeal, given you have pretty high scores and tons of work experience! I'm not sure if they'd offer admission after people deny their spots. Do they have a set waitlist?
